Failure is an important tool in education as without experiencing
failure it is difficult for anyone to truly understand the meaning of success.Failure allows people to achieve success. First we have to look at the word failure, it means an act or instance of failing or proving unsuccessful; lack of success. The fear of failure is what that drives many people to strive for excellence.

Thomas Alva Edison's Attempts to get invent a light bulb failed over
9,000 times. When a young reporter interviewed Thomas Edison, He boldly asked Him "Mr.Edison,
Do you feel like a failure?And why would you ever give up?" With a smile on his face Edison answered " Young man, why would I feel like a failure? And why would I ever give up? achieve success. Without Failure it is difficult for anyone to
realize the true meaning of success.The contentment of succeeding
can only be achieved when someone goes through failure. An example

In Singapore, Education is a vital source to a good future.The importance of education
is emphasized by imposing the fear of failure onto the students. Failure again becomes

on students,they will not walk the extra mile to achieve better grades. An fine example of
a student who went through failure but used his failure as a stepping stone to success would be
kumaran,Alumni of Millennia Institute.His story was published in the local newspapers. Mixing around with bad company in his secondary school days, Kumaran barely managed to pass to
enter Millennia Institute. He was involved in a crime, and thus was in deep trouble with the authorities. People started to look down on him. His failure in life, motivated him. He wanted people whom looked down on him,to look up to him. Thus he studied very hard, and the result.
As in all 3 H2 subjects and a B in general paper in the 2010 G.C.E A levels. Thus Failure helps everyone to succeed.
The Negative Aspect of Failure
Failure,just like any other aspect in life has a negative and positive value. Failure motivates people to work harder, it pushes one to their breaking point. People whom cross the breaking point are the ones whom succeed, thus they benefit from the impact of failure. That is a good thing, however there are people whom break at this point emotionally and this is where the negative side of failure kicks in. Especially in education. It is a important aspect, but sometimes instead of motivating the student,it demoralizes the student and sometimes even pushes the student to a point where he/she thinks that facing death is easier than facing failure.
There are so many cases of suicides due to academic failure around the world. This proves that the same failure which has the power to make one succeed,also has the power to kill. Life is what you make of it, nevertheless education.
Thus in Conclusion, Failure drives many people to achieve the impossible. Given the negative
facts of Failure, People whom overcome this aspect of failure are the ones whom succeed in life.
Everything has a positive and negative effect. The factor which determines the better, is by weighing which effect is heavier, the positive or the negative.
